about us

Sansom Watches is a Swiss Watch Shop originally founded on Philadelphia’s Historic Jeweler’s Row. Established in 1851. In 2024 Sansom Watches moved to Philadelphia’s Main Line and King of Prussia area.  We now have free and safe parking at our front door.  Our showroom is comfortable and fun place to check out all of the watches. Its convenient location to drop off, and pick up watch repairs.

Sansom Watches is open to the public.

The Greatest Watches have amazing stories.  Some of our favorites helped the world solve problems such as the Gas Shortages in the 1970’s which Sparked America’s  Mayhem and Forever Changed the Nation.  Another watch helped the British R.A.F. Bomber pilots in WW2 with Navigation and Timing challenges;  Other Watches helped the fastest race cars drivers of the 24 hour races at Monaco pass over 200 miles per hour.  When Boeing Created the first 707 which took commercial pilots over multiple time zones, new watch solutions were needed.  Others were WW1 bi-plane pilots, the American rail roads.   And even watch solutions were need to get to the Moon.  Sansom Watches can help explain all the histories and even help you own a part of history.
